GlossGenius charges a flat 2.6% on card payments. In a SuiteCue building, the published rate for client card payments is 3.2% + 30¢ per payment, which is higher. Solo's own card rate is not published yet.

    Inside a SuiteCue building the building pays and the pro does not. On your own, Solo pricing is coming. GlossGenius lists $28, $56, or $168 a month for each pro.

  • Where your book lives

    A GlossGenius booth renter is a team member under the salon owner's account. A SuiteCue pro has an account of their own, and the same account works Solo and in a Community, so the book moves with them.

  • Card processing

    GlossGenius's flat rate is lower than SuiteCue's published card rate in a building. If you take many card payments, that difference adds up. Solo's own card rate is not published yet.

Solo may suit you if

You rent a suite or may one day, you want your clients to stay yours when you move, and you like the idea of rent and a door pass in the same app where a building has them. You also want your own domain for your booking site.

GlossGenius may suit you if

You want a flat 2.6% card rate, you need a card reader or Tap to Pay today, and you work on your own with no building in the picture.
