Seam
BetaOne connection to many smart locks and access systems. For each appointment, SuiteCue asks Seam for a code that works only inside that window.
Beta means this connection is built to the vendor's API and contract-tested. Design partners validate it on real doors.
How passes work
A Seam pass, step by step.
- A booking is confirmed and SuiteCue schedules a pass for the appointment window.
- A little before the window opens, SuiteCue asks Seam to create an access code on your lock with a start time and an end time.
- The pass stays hidden until the window opens. Then it shows the code, and the code stops working when the window closes.
- If the booking is cancelled, SuiteCue revokes the code.
The owner sets how long before the window a pass is made and how long it stays valid after. SuiteCue does not choose those times.
